What is this class about?

Welcome to Little Makers! This class is designed for curious young minds ages 5-7, introducing them to the exciting world of STEM through hands-on exploration, fun games, and interactive activities. Each week, our Little Makers dive into science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) concepts by experimenting with tools like Cosmo and Vector robots, Ozobots, and Minecraft Education Edition. They’ll get to light up circuits, program robots to follow commands, and solve puzzles in games like Robot Turtles, all tailored to spark creativity and problem-solving.

In Little Makers, our goal is not only to teach technology but also to help kids build essential foundational skills. As they tinker with robots and experiment with circuits, they learn critical thinking and the power of persistence through trial and error.

Our activities encourage collaboration, as kids work together to complete tasks and celebrate their progress along the way. With every activity, we aim to nurture a love for learning, curiosity, and confidence in tackling new challenges. By the end of the class, your child will have a solid foundation in STEAM, a budding confidence in their abilities, and memories of fun learning experiences that will last a lifetime.
