In our first class for kids 14 and up, we dive right into coding. Kids will build a web app using modern, relevant programming languages. Core coding concepts will be covered as kids work through design and development of thier web app. At the end of the course, they will have published an app that they can share with friends and family.

Teamwork, Problem Solving, and Critical Thinking

Students will work both individually and in teams. We try and mimic how real-world engineers work by allowing them to have both individual and team goals. This helps foster teamwork and communication skills. We also encourage them to try and solve a problem first, then go to their team, and then finally to their instructor when the hit a roadblock. Regardless of your child’s future career they’ll need these skills.

This courses curriculum is based on the National Computer Science Teachers Association standard for teaching computer science to K-12 students.
