About The Event
In this hands-on A La Carte class, students will learn coding and robotics!Â
 Â
Students will work individually and in groups to solve problems using robotics. Â They will learn critical thinking and problem solving alongside fundamental coding and robotics skills. Â Because we teach using our STEAM+ method, students will also learn presentation skills, communication and teamwork. Â Â
Most of our projects are developed by incorporating a different subject into the problem statement. Â For instance, students will code a robot to replicate Magellan's journey around the world. Â In another lesson, they will code a robot to reproduce shapes from geometry.Â
All materials (tablets and robots) will be supplied by CodeForce. Â There is an annual materials fee associated for challenge materials and costumes for the robots.Â
Day/Time: Â Mondays 10:00-11:00Â
Ages: Â 7 and upÂ
