About The Event
Lego Robotics
In this hands-on, project based course, kids will work in teams to solve a problem using a robot of their own design. We teach the core fundamentals and values of the First Lego League.
Students will be presented a real world problem and then be asked to design, build, and code a robot to solve it using the Lego Mindstorms, EV3 Robotics Kit.
All materials (tablets and robots) will be supplied by CodeForce.
Teamwork, Problem Solving, and Critical Thinking
Students will work both individually and in teams. We try and mimic how real-world engineers work by allowing them to have both individual and team goals. This helps foster teamwork and communication skills. We also encourage them to try and solve a problem first, then go to their team, and then finally to their instructor when the hit a roadblock. Regardless of your child’s future career they’ll need these…
