Service Description

Classes Start November 7th! Our Monday class is full, but we are starting a 2nd section. We meet most Tuesdays from 5:45 - 6:45 PM Cost: $80.00 per month. You can join or cancel at anytime. All transactions are securely processed by our partner, STRIPE. Payment at registration secures your child's spot in the class and covers the first month's fee. After the first month, payment is drafted the day you chose to begin class. Ex: If you start class on September 3rd, your next payment will draft on October 3rd, then November 3rd, and so on. Welcome to Learn to Code for Kids, an exciting and innovative class designed specifically for curious young minds between the ages of 6 and 12. This class serves as the perfect introduction to the world of coding and game building, providing a solid foundation in core programming concepts that prepares young learners for advancing to the Learn to Code for Teens class. Taught by a professional software engineer with a passion for inspiring young talent, this interactive course promises an engaging and supportive learning environment for all participants. Introduction to Coding: In this beginner-friendly module, young coders will embark on their coding journey by exploring the fundamental concepts of programming. Through fun and interactive activities, they will learn about sequencing, algorithms, and computational thinking in a creative and playful manner. Game Building Basics: This module will excite and challenge students as they step into the world of game development. Using a beginner-friendly game development platform, they will learn how to create simple games, instilling problem-solving skills and sparking their creativity along the way. Unleashing Creativity: We believe in nurturing creativity. Students will have the opportunity to personalize their projects, designing characters, backgrounds, and sound effects to make their creations truly unique. Advancing to the Next Level: As students gain confidence in their coding skills, they will be prepared to transition smoothly into the Teen Coding Adventure class. This introductory course acts as a stepping stone, ensuring a seamless progression to more advanced concepts.
