A Week of Minecraft!

Monday, Aug 1st

It's Minecraft Monday! In the morning we will do creative engineering challenges inside a shared world and in the afternoon we will solve challenges using code. Kids will learn to code using Microsoft's MakeCode.

Tuesday, Aug 2nd

Chemistry in Minecraft. Kids will learn about chemical elements and how combining them they can make really awesome fireworks, helium balloons and much, much more. This is incredibly fun and we will send them home with their "recipe" book filled out!

Wednesday,Aug 3rd

A Day Full of Mods (Coding)! Today kids will work individually and in teams to solve challenges, create new equipment and learn how to use command blocks in ways they never clou d have imagined. Plus, they will write some code to mod minecraft and let their imaginations run wild.

Thursday, Aug 4th

In our final day, we it will be a free build and team challenge day. There will be Minecraft Swag and prizes for their hard work. 

CodeForce will provide all equipment and does have a few Minecraft accounts in case your child needs one. In each camp we do touch on topics such as staying safe on the internet and antibullying.  Lunch is not provided so please send your child with snacks, water, and lunch. Each day we will take a break from approximately 12-1 for lunch and free play time.
