CodeForce STEM Summer Camp

Monday

It's Mincraft Monday! In the morning we will do creative engineering challenges inside a shared world and in the afternoon we will solve challenges using code. Kids will learn to code using Microsofts MakeCode.

Tuesday

It's Makers day! Kids will learn about how computers work using Rasperry Pis and will together to build a camera and will make and record video's on the device they build. In the afternoon they will write code that they will install on the Micro:bit. We will build hand-held games that they can play together!

Wednesday

Roblox Game Development! Kids will learn to build games and custom outfits for their characters. We will have plenty of coding and creative design mixed in with some fun games that they know and love! Kids will also learn how to publish their game to their Roblox Account.

• Creating artifacts that can be sold in the Market Place (Clothing)

Thursday

In our final day, we will explore the world of VR using the Oculus in the morning and wrap up with robotics in the afternoon!

CodeForce will provide all equipment and does have a few Minecraft and Roblox accounts in case your child needs one. In each camp we do touch on topics such as staying safe on the internet and antibullying.  Lunch is not provided so please send your child with snacks, water, and lunch. Each day we will take a break from approximately 12-1 for lunch and free play time.
