About The Event
This camp will introduce kids who love Minecraft to the power of coding! They will use Microsoft MakeCode, a blockbased coding language to explore their super power!
The Challenge
They will recreate the experience of being overrun by hordes of zombies. You will also see the effect of exponential growth: every time they kill one zombie, many more will be created to take its place. What does that feel like? Let’s find out!
Prerequisites
This camp does require some set up and software that is not covered by the fee.
Software:
- Minecraft Windows 10 Edition (~$27.00).
- Code Connection App (Free)
- Zoom (Preferably on the computer they will be using (Not a tablet).
We are happy to help you get these installed. They are pretty straight forward, but always happy to help!
