About The Event

Makers Lab for Teens

In this hands one class, kids will learn how to build digital devices with their hands. We will cover basic computer architecture and learn to build IOT (Internet of Things) devices. This will include both games and devices that can run the home.

Teamwork, Problem Solving, and Critical Thinking

Students will work both individually and in teams. We try and mimic how real-world engineers work by allowing them to have both individual and team goals. This helps foster teamwork and communication skills. We also encourage them to try and solve a problem first, then go to their team, and then finally to their instructor when the hit a roadblock. Regardless of your child’s future career they’ll need these skills.
