Roblox Thursdays

All camps are on Thursdays from 1 - 4 PM (We will take a couple of brain breaks in each class). These camps are designed to teach your kiddo's Lua coding and game theory/design. Each camp is stand alone so you can take all of them or you can pick and choose as your schedule allows.

The suggested age for this class 8 and up.

Details

This is an online, instructor lead class, that will teach students Lua coding and Roblox Game design. We will use a modern coding language and tools that are used by professional coders. We will provide an installer that will install all necessary files and apps on your computer. These camps will teach kids:

• How to write, compile, and test Lua scripts.
• How to use Roblox Studio, the designer used to create all Roblox games. 
• How to devlop obbies, race maps, adventure maps, tycoons, and more!
• How to build team based games, levels, and in-game items. 
• How to publish your games for others to play.

Cost

Each camp is $25.00. If you bundle all camps for the series, you get a 10% discount. We also offer a 10% discount for siblings (Use code SIBLINGS at checkout). You can purchase access to all of the Roblox camps for $199.00 (a 10% discount) or you can purchase both the Roblox and Minecraft camps (18 meetings) for $299.00 ($100.00 OFF).

System Requirements

• A PC or Mac computer running at least Windows 7 or macOS 10.10 (Roblox Studio cannot run on Linux, Chromebooks, or mobile devices such as smartphones).
• At least 1 GB of system memory.
• Internet access. This keeps the software up-to-date and lets you save projects to your Roblox account.
